Now I know taking notes is not the most exciting part of college, but it is necessary for college. The nice thing about notes is that there is no set form or structure. It’s all on the writer to organize their notes not the teacher. So spice it up. Take down notes in a way that can be exciting.

Here are three reasons why individualizing your note taking is beneficial:

Like many college students I love to read. Personally, I’m fond of philosophy and poetry. I have friends who delve more into literature and others who read only text books. It doesn’t matter what your read, as long as you read. Here are a few tips I have for reading

Read what you love: No one should ever willingly read a book they find boring. What’s the point? If a book doesn’t spark something magical in your brain throw it to the wayside.
