I know this blog is supposed to be about fun places for you all to venture to for a night out in the concrete jungle. Or about funny stories that have happened to me and my friends while drinking. And of course, about all the fun and craziness of being a New York City bartender. But today I saw something on CBS’s the Early Show and I just can’t help but to write about it. I saw something on the Early show today, a show I watch every day as I get ready for my career 9-5er, that I really couldn’t stop thinking about the whole day. A mother was interviewed this morning because she lost her 17 year old daughter. Her daughter was a normal high-schooler who went out with friends after a Friday night football game. They ended up partying in the woods of their small suburban town since there were not too many places for under-agers to drink. This young girl ventured off into the woods and was never seen alive again.
